My Zen Microphoto is stuck in the Recovery Mode. I know it can detect the drive because when I format it tells me there 7609.2MB available. If I reboot, it goes past the Creative Splash Screen, shows a bunch of asterisks and stuff, then goes back to Recovery Mode. If I select Reload Firmware, it says it's going to erase the firmware and then it says to connect the USB. When I do this, the firmware tool doesn't recognize a connected device.

The PC detects the Zen Microphoto, but only shows it as a 20MB storage device.

The Zen Recovery Tool tells me there's a problem with installation, read the instructions in Document ID #16737 and try again.

Nothing seems to work and I'm a fairly savvy computer user.

Running Windows XP sp3 932-bit), also running Windows vista business 64bit. Tried uninstalling all Creative software and rolling back Windows media player from 11 to 10. Not working. Any help would be appreciated.

ok i am answering, when in the recovery mode try to do a clean-up. if it doesnt work then do a format but it will erase all your content

ok try myzenchecker, you should rollback to wmp10 instead. see if you have all the good results from myzenchecker
