Also, I wanted to thank you for this site. I was one of those people who couldn't get their Windows to recognize the Zen, so i trouble shot and was completely satisfied. Thanks again.

Ah, Finally fixed it ran clean up several times rebooting each time now lists in the creative software WMP10. All I can think of is maybe the drive became so fragmented.
Thanks for the input and Great site!

I was thinking more along the lines of reporting the serial code to the local authorities or something. People have been known to have flagged serial numbers appear in tech support databases. Buuut...since he's actually in this topic and probably receiving these e-mails I think there is extremly little we can do...

that is provided the original owner has registered their new product with the tech support. if not, the thief could have mentioned that he bought it Sad

ok, from beginning. I bought him 2 years ago, he worked perfectly until a few month when he suddenly didn't want to turn on. windows recognized him as removable device, but it couldn't format him or open him. i tried to restart him several times, nothing. tried to format with creative media lite, nothing. tried new software, setup couldn't locate device to install software. it's like he's dead. my cousin had the same problem, but his zen was still under guaranty so they fix it, don't know how, but hey said that his battery is weaker. that was a year ago, and it still work just fine. and i tried the same on my second laptop, my friends pc, same result.

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
