Also, I wanted to thank you for this site. I was one of those people who couldn't get their Windows to recognize the Zen, so i trouble shot and was completely satisfied. Thanks again.

Ah, Finally fixed it ran clean up several times rebooting each time now lists in the creative software WMP10. All I can think of is maybe the drive became so fragmented.

My friend plugged in my Zen stone into his Macbook and transferred songs onto it. But i use Windows XP. And now it doesnt work on my PC, and every time i switch it on, its stuck on the intro screen that says 'CREATIVE'. How do i solve this??

And, no, im not able to format it! Coz, I right-click on the damn Disk when it shows up in 'My Computer', n 'My Computer' stops responding

the problem could be in your pc since it works in your friend's mac
try to use your friend's mac or any other spare pc to try it
