Also, I wanted to thank you for this site. I was one of those people who couldn't get their Windows to recognize the Zen, so i trouble shot and was completely satisfied. Thanks again.

Basically my ZVM will sporadically just stop showing up when I plug it in. Sometimes switching the Sync Manager preferences back and forth between Manual and Automatic fixes it sometimes it doesn't.

INFO: You are using Microsoft Internet Explorer.
GOOD: Your Operating System is Windows XP
BAD: You do not have Service Pack 2 installed. Please refer to Fix1 to get it installed
GOOD: You have an Intel Processor False, I have an AMD Processor
GOOD: You have a Windows Platform
GOOD: You have installed Windows Media Player Version: 10.

I have SP3, shouldn't this be just as good if not better than SP2?

Its okay about the processor i have an AMD too and it works okay.

Sometimes when you install SP2 it doesn't install all the right files.

Most likely if you download and install the SP2 from the main windows site

here: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx

it should help in that it installs the missing files.

And SP3 shouldn't be a problem with your zen connecting so you can most definetely stay on SP3.

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
