Also, I wanted to thank you for this site. I was one of those people who couldn't get their Windows to recognize the Zen, so i trouble shot and was completely satisfied. Thanks again.

Ah, Finally fixed it ran clean up several times rebooting each time now lists in the creative software WMP10. All I can think of is maybe the drive became so fragmented.
Thanks for the input and Great site!

Hi,
This is what I am doing at present, but I can't organise it easily.
Can you tell me if there is a way of reinstalling the firmware to allow it to work fully without losing the 1000+ tracks already on the unit.
Regards,Ken. Undecided

Problem Solved,
tried WMP with no success. Win Amp worked no problem, able to synch. with player and organize music files and transfer music in both directions.
I can't thank you enough especially as Creative tech. support diagnosed a hardware fault and more or less telling me to bin my player.

thanks Again,
Ken.

With a Quick-Reply you can use bulletin board code and smileys as you would in a normal post, but much more conveniently.
