Ah, Finally fixed it ran clean up several times rebooting each time now lists in the creative software WMP10. All I can think of is maybe the drive became so fragmented.

where is the on-off switch?Huh!!!!  i'm having a heart attack.  just loaded battery.  trying to leave my house.  not on quick-start.  for pete's sake.  how can i not find it?

its on the right side of your zen mozaic
To turn on your player, slide the On/Off/Lock switch towards  and hold until the display lights up.
To turn off your player, slide the On/Off/Lock switch towards  and hold until the Shutting down
